Asparagus Hors D' Oeuvres

Asparagus Hors D' Oeuvres

20 slices of white bread, crust removed, rolled flat
3 ounces of bleu cheese, softened
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 can of asparagus
Melted butter

Mix together the bleu cheese, cream cheese and egg until thoroughly blended. Spread cheese mixture on flattened bread. Put slice of asparagus on each piece of bread. Roll bread jelly roll style. Dip in melted butter. Place on cookie sheet. Freeze. Remove from freezer about 20 or 30 minutes before serving. Cut each roll into quarters at once, it's easier to cut while frozen. Bake in a 400ºF. oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
