3 cups of freshly squeezed Texas ruby red grapefruit juice 1/4 to 1/3 cup of honey 2 cinnamon sticks 6 whole cloves 1/2 cup of dark rum (optional)
In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Stir well. Heat just to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves. Pour into mugs, garnish with additional cinnamon sticks and cloves, if desired.
