Cranberry Liqueur
1 pound of fresh cranberries 1/4 Orange, sliced and scraped 1/2 Lemon, sliced and scraped 1/2 cup of sugar syrup (recipe below) 1 1/2 cups of Alcohol (vodka or grain) STANDARD SUGAR SYRUP 1 cup of white sugar 1/2 cup of water |

Wash cranberries and coarsely chop in blender or food processor. Add all the ingredients to the alcohol. Steep for 4 weeks.
Strain and filter. If more sweetener is required, add more sugar syrup to taste and mature for another week.
Standard Sugar Syrup: Put the sugar and water in a sauce pan and heat over a medium heat, stirring occasionally until it forms clear liquid. Let it cool.
