Rum Punch
6 egg yolks 8 tablespoons of sugar 1 1/4 cups of dark rum 2 cups of hot milk 3 egg whites |

Beat the egg yolks with 6 tablespoons of sugar until very thick. Add the rum, beating constantly. Pour in the milk slowly and continue to beat the mixture. Pour into 6 warmed goblets. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form and top each serving with the meringue. 6 servings
