3 tablespoons of butter or margarine 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour 1 cup of milk 1/4 teaspoon of salt a dash of pepper 1 cup of grated Cheddar cheese
Heat butter in a small saucepan until melted. Stir in flour smoothly. Gradually add milk, stirring. Heat to boiling, stirring until mixture thickens. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring until cheese melts. Makes 1 cup |
