| Snappy Cheese Wafers
2 cups of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1 cup of butter or margarine, softened 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard 1 cup of all purpose flour 1 cup of self rising flour 2 cups of crisp rice cereal |

Cream cheese and margarine until smooth, using electric mixer. Add pepper, mustard and flour. Mix well. Stir in rice cereal. Form dough into small balls, flatten with a fork to make wafers. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350ºF. for 12 -1 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Store in an airtight container. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
