Cocktail Pasties

4 slices of bacon
1 pound of round beef
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
2 sticks of margarine
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons of vinegar



Cook bacon in skillet until crisp; drain and crumble.
Brown ground beef in 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings, stirring until crumbly.
Stir in the next 3 ingredients.
Cook until thickened; cool.
Add crumbled bacon.
Mix flour and salt in bowl.
Cut in margarine until crumbly.
Mix egg with 4 tablespoons of water and vinegar.
Combine egg and flour mixture, stirring until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Roll on floured surface.
Cut into 4 inch circles.
Spoon 1 tablespoon of beef mixture onto each round.
Fold to enclose filling, crimping edges to seal.
Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 400ºF. for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
Yields 40 servings
