Cranberry Cocktail Punch

 

Cranberry Cocktail Punch

Two 32 ounce bottles of cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
2 cups of orange juice, chilled
1 cup of pineapple juice, chilled
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice, chilled
One 28 ounce bottle of ginger ale, chilled
1 tray of ice cubes
Lemon Slices for garnish 

In a large punch bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients, except the lemon slices, which should be added just before serving. Serves 30

Hot Cranberry Cocktail 2

1 quart of apple cider
3 whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
2 whole all spice
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 quart of cranberry juice

Simmer cider and spices, covered for 5 minutes. Add brown sugar and simmer 5 more minutes. Add cranberry juice and heat to simmering temperature. Makes 2 quarts. Smells as good as it tastes.


Cranberry Cocktail 3

1 quart of apple cider
3 whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
2 whole allspice
1 quart of cranberry juice
1/3 cup of brown sugar
Brandy (optional)

To the 1-quart apple cider, add cloves, cinnamon and allspice; simmer for 5 minutes in covered container. Add the brown sugar; simmer another 5 minutes. Add cranberry juice. Can be laced with brandy as each cup is served.

Cranberry Cocktail 4

1 pound of fresh cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 quarts of cold water
2/3 tablespoons of lemon juice

Grind cranberries in food processor or food grinder. Combine water and sugar and bring to a boil. Add cranberries, return to boil and boil for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice, strain through bag or very fine sieve. Chill and serve. Makes 2 1/2 quarts. 

Cranberry Cocktail 5

6 cubes ice
3 cups of cranberry cocktail
3 cups of club soda or Seltzer water
1 teaspoon of  bitters
1 sliced lemon

In a pitcher, mix ingredients. 6 servings.
