| | Hot Artichoke Cheese Squares
1/4 cup of finely chopped onion 1 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon of shortening 4 eggs, well beaten 1 can (14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped 1/4 cup of dry bread crumbs 2 cups (8 ounces) of shredded Cheddar of Swiss cheese 2 tablespoons of snipped parsley Few drops of Tabasco
Sauté onion and garlic in shortening in a skillet. Combine all ingredients. Pour into an 11x7 inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325F. for 30 minutes or until filling is set. Let stand a few minutes. Cut into squares to serve. 24 appetizers. |
