Instructions: Drain the pears and reserve the juice. In a compote drained pears, mandarin orange sections, and maraschino cherries. Combine the reserved pear juice, honey, and lime juice. Pour over fruit and stir carefully. Chill thoroughly, about 2 hours. Before serving, sprinkle toasted coconut over the top. Serves 6 Pear Ambrosia
5 pears, cubed 4 oranges 1 cup of flaked coconut One 16 ounce can of crushed pineapple, drained 1 small jar of maraschino cherries, halved
Cube pears, cut up oranges and combine remaining ingredients. Chill until serving time. Serves 4-6.
