Cut 4 x 5 inch squares of double cheesecloth . Cut heavy string into 1 foot lengths. Into center of each piece of cheesecloth place: 1 bay leaf, 3 peppercorns, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano leaves, 1 teaspoon of dried basil leaves, a pinch of rosemary, thyme, 1 teaspoon of dried parsley flakes, 1 teaspoon of onion flakes, 1 teaspoon of dried celery flakes. Bring up cheesecloth around herbs and tie securely with string. Store in attractive containers, with lids on securely. Excellent flavor addition for stews, soups, beans, pot roast and sauces for pastas. (Tie string to pot handle for easy removal. Bouquets Garnis make nice gifts, especially for new chefs.
