| | Golden Cheese Spread
8 ounces of natural sharp Cheddar cheese, finely grated, about 2 1/4 cups 4 ounces of Gouda or edam cheese, finely grated, about 1 cup 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, softened 1/8 teaspoon of garlic salt 1 teaspoon of ground mustard 1/4 cup of dry white wine or apple juice 1/4 cup of chopped ripe olives
Using electric mixer, beat together cheddar cheese, Gouda, Parmesan and butter until blended. Add garlic salt, mustard and wine. Beat until blended, clean beaters. Stir in ripe olives. Cover; chill overnight. Allow to stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving. Serve in attractive bowl with assorted crackers in basket. Makes 2 1/2 cups
