| | Beef & Cabbage Soup
1/2 pound of diced beef 1/2 cup of shredded cabbage 2 quarts of beef bouillon or water 4 small potatoes, diced 1carrot, diced 1 parsnip, diced 1 stalk celery, sliced 1 leek, sliced Salt and pepper to taste
Add the beef and shredded cabbage to the liquid bouillon. Cook this for 1 hour. Add all the vegetables to the soup and cook it until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper; serve. Makes 6 or more servings |
