| | Holiday Mincemeat-Stuffed Apples
8 medium-size Granny Smith apples 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine 1 tablespoon of rum extract 8 tablespoons of mincemeat
Wash, halve, and core apples; do not peel. Place apples in an ovenproof dish. Fill cavities with a mixture of butter, rum extract, and mincemeat. Bake at 350ºF. for 25 minutes, or until apples are tender. Serve with baked pork loin, lamb, or ham. Serves 8. |
