 | September's air is softer now, and it's blue sky has a warm serenity after the hot fever of late summer. Apples and pears are coming into picking ripeness. It's back to school for the youngsters and the not so young. We have some ideas for school lunches, cookies and favorite foods that should appeal to just about everyone. Our vegetables of the month are eggplant and spinach without which we wouldn't have Ratatouille or Eggs Florentine.
