Avocado Cookies

Place in bowl ingredients in a bowl 

1 cup of sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of  baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of  cloves
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup of  brown sugar 



Stir until well blended. Melt 1/4 cup shortening. Let cool. Add 1 egg and beat with spoon. Add 3/4 cup mashed avocados and beat again. Add 1 cup raisins. Add 1/2 cup diced dates. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts. Mix in dry ingredients and blend until dryness disappears. Drop by spoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350ºF.  for 10-12 minutes.
