Pistachio Bread 1
1 package of yellow cake mix
1 package of instant pistachio pudding
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1/4 cup of oil
4 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of cinnamon
Mix all of the ingredients together. Place in 2 greased bread pans. Bake at 350ºF. for 40 minutes.
Pistachio Bread
1 package of Duncan Hines Golden Batter cake mix
1 package of pistachio pudding
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 pint of sour cream
1/4 cup of Crisco oil
1/4 cup of water
4 drops green food color
Mix together well. In separate bowl, mix together: 4 tablespoons of brown sugar, 4 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 cup of nuts, chopped
Pour 1/4 of cake mixture into 2 loaf pans (greased). Sprinkle 1/4 of sugar mixture on top. Pour on rest of cake mixture, then rest of sugar mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350ºF. Can refrigerate or freeze.
Pistachio Bread
1 package of Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix (yellow)
1 small package of Jell-O instant pistachio pudding mix
1 cup of sour cream
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup of oil
1/4 cup of water
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
3/4 cup of walnuts or pecans, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, eggs, oil and water. Beat well until smooth. In a small bowl mix together sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Divide batter between 2 greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans, alternating layers of batter with sugar/nut mixture. End with a sugar layer. Bake at 350ºF. for one hour or until loaves test done.
