Easy Poppy Seed Bread

1 package of Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
1 package of toasted coconut instant pudding
1/4 cup of poppy seeds
4 eggs
1 cup of hot water
1/2 cup of Crisco oil

Mix all of the ingredients well and pour into 2 well greased loaf pans 9 x 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. bake at 350ºF.  for 40 - 50 minutes. The bread will be very moist. 

Poppy Seed Bread 2

2 1/2 cups of sugar
2 1/2 cups of oil
2 cups of evaporated milk
5 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
5 cups of flour
4 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of poppy seeds

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Generously grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3 inch) loaf pans. Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl and mix on medium speed, until well blended. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Blend into egg mixture on low speed. Add seeds and vanilla and beat until smooth. Turn into pans and bake until golden. Good with butter, jelly or cream cheese.

Poppy Seed Bread 3

3 cups of flour
1 1/2 cup of milk
2 1/4 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup of oil
1 1/2 teaspoon of butter flavoring
1 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
1 1/2 tablespoon of poppy seeds

Combine in mixing bowl and beat with mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350ºF.  for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool slightly and pour on glaze.

GLAZE 

1/2 teaspoon of butter flavoring
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
1/4 cup of orange juice

Combine and beat until sugar dissolves. Pour over warm loaves. Let cool completely before removing from pans.
