Combine in casserole: 1 pound of extra lean hamburger, raw 1 cup of uncooked rice 1 cup of diced carrots 1 cup of onions, finely chopped 2 cups of water mixed with two 10 ounce cans of tomato soup (or 1 quart tomato juice for soup and water) 1 teaspoon of salt Pepper to taste
Cover and bake for 2 hours in 325ºF. oven. Sprinkle top with 1/3 cup grated cheese 10 minutes before removing from oven. Serves 6.
