1 can of chili without beans 1/3 - 1/2 cup of corn meal 1 cup of water 1/2 teaspoon of salt a dash of black pepper a dash of Tabasco 1 tablespoon of salad oil 1 can of Mexican style beans
Spread salad oil over surface of skillet. Add chili, water and salt. heat until boiling. Stir in cornmeal. Cook 10 - 12 minutes or until the mixture is thick enough to hold shape. Season with black pepper and Tabasco. Place on heated platter and pour over the Mexican styled beans which have been heated to boiling. Beans may be seasoned with a dash of Tabasco. Serves 10 |
