Carolina Shrimp Pie

2 pounds of shrimp
2 cups of cracker crumbs
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 cup of melted margarine
3 cups of half and half



Cook the shrimp in boiling salted water for 10 minutes, then drain. Peel and devein. Place alternate layers of cracker crumbs, shrimp, salt, pepper and margarine in a casserole, ending with crumbs, then pour the half and half over top. Bake at 375ºF. for about 30 minutes or until light brown.
