Hamburger Macaroni casserole

 

Hamburger Macaroni casserole

2 cups of macaroni
1 pound of ground beef
1 can of condensed tomato soup
1 can of condensed mushroom soup
1 medium green pepper
1/4 cup of Colby cheese, cubed
1/4 cup of chopped pimiento, optional
one 3 ounce can of French fried onions(Durkee)




Cook the macaroni, drain. Brown the ground beef, drain. Add soups, green pepper, pimiento, macaroni and the ground beef. Place half of the mixture in a greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with half the cheese and onions. Top with remaining macaroni mixture and cheese. Bake at 350ºF. for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining onions, and bake 5 additional minutes.
