Nut Casserole

1 cup of whole wheat bread crumbs
1 cup of chopped celery
1/2 cup of chopped parsley
1 cup of chopped English walnuts or pecans
1 large onion, chopped fine
1/2 cup of finely chopped green pepper
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups of  non fat milk
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons of melted butter




Combine the crumbs, celery, parsley, nuts, onion and green peppers. Add eggs and milk and mix together; season to taste. Pour in greased casserole dish and pour melted butter over. Bake at 325ºF. for 1 hour.
