Quick Chili Rice Dinner

 

Quick Chili Rice Dinner

3/4 pound of ground beef
1/3 cup of chopped onion
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
one 10 ounce package of whole kernel corn
1 cup of diced green pepper
one 15 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of Minute Rice
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese




Brown the beef and onion in skillet. Add spices, corn, green pepper, tomato sauce and water. Cover and bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Great for when time is limited, takes only 20 minutes to prepare. Serves 4
