| Rice Ole
2 slices of bacon 1/3 cup of chopped onion 1/4 cup of finely chopped green pepper 1 1/2 cups of water 2 envelopes of Lipton Tomato Cup a Soup 1 cup of uncooked instant rice 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
In a skillet cook the bacon until crisp, drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Add onion and green pepper to skillet. cook until tender. Add water and bring to a boil. Stir in Cup a soup, uncooked rice, garlic, salt and crumbled bacon, cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serves 3 - 4 |
