1 package of French's Real Cheese Scalloped Potatoes
1 pound of smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut in 1/4 inch slices
1 cup of thinly sliced carrots
1 tablespoon of freeze dried chives
1 cup of soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of parsley flakes
Follow microwave method on package, except increase water to 3 cups and add carrots, microwave, covered for 15 minutes. Add seasoning mix, milk, sausage, and chives. Microwave, covered, for 3 - 5 minutes. Combine crumbs, butter and parsley flakes, sprinkle casserole with crumb mixture, microwave, uncovered for 5 - 7 minutes. |
