Low Calorie Applesauce Cake
2 cups of raisins 2 cups o water 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce 2 eggs 3/4 cup of oil 2 tablespoons of artificial sweetener 2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
Cook raisins in water until soft. Add applesauce, eggs, oil, and sweetener to raisins. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch glass pan, greased with diet margarine. Bake at 325ºF. for 45 minutes. 216 calories per serving. Serves 16. Low Cal Applesauce Cake
2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 cup of cooking oil 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg 2 cups of raisins 1 cup of sugar 2 teaspoons of baking soda 1 tablespoon of cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves One 1 pound can of applesauce (2 c.)
Put all ingredients together and stir until well mixed with a spoon. Put into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing. |
