Busy Day Cake 5

1 yellow cake mix
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can of crushed pineapple
2 sticks of oleo
1 cup of  chopped pecans

Put ingredients in an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan in the following order: crushed pineapple, then spread cherry filling on top of pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of cherries. Slice 2 sticks of margarine on top of cake mix. Last sprinkle a cup of chopped pecans over margarine. Bake at 350ºF. for 50 to 60 minutes. Apple pie filling may be used instead of cherry. 



Busy Day Cake 6

2 eggs
1 cup of  sugar
1 teaspoon of  baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of butter
1 cup of  sifted flour

Use a 6 x 10 1/2 loaf pan. Grease with butter and flour it well. Then beat eggs and sugar together. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Add vanilla. Take milk and butter - bring to boiling point. Add to mixture. Bake in moderate oven, at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. 

ICING:

1 can of coconut
5 tablespoons of brown sugar
3 tablespoons of butter (melted)
3 tablespoons of evaporated milk

Mix. Put on top of cooled cake. Place under broiler until brown. 

Busy Day Dump Cake 7

1 can of apple pie filling
1 cup of  brown sugar
1 package of  spice cake mix
1 cup of  chopped pecans
1/2 pound of  butter or margarine cut into bits
1 box yellow cake mix

Layer ingredients in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan in order listed. Butter must cover cake mix. Bake at 325ºF. for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream. Serves 10-12. 

Busy Day Chocolate Cake 8

2 2/3 cup of  flour
6 tablespoons of cocoa
2 teaspoons of  salt
2 teaspoons of soda
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 tablespoons of vinegar
2 cups of water
1 cup of vegetable oil

Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix. The batter will be thin. Bake in a 9x13 pan about 40 minutes at 350ºF.
