Caramel Nut Frosting

2/3 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of white sugar
1/3 cup of milk
1 egg white, beaten
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 cup of chopped nuts



Boil sugar and water together until it spins a thread. Gradually pour over beaten egg white and continue beating until cold. Set pan containing mixture in  pan of boiling water. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture becomes granular around edges of pan. Remove from fire, beat using a spoon until mixture holds shape. Add nuts and vanilla, pour on cake, spread with back of spoon, leaving rough.
