

| Aunt Linas Carrot Cake
1 1/3 cups of sugar 1 1/3 cups of water 1 cup of seeded raisins 2 tablespoons of butter 2 large of carrots; grated 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of cloves 1 teaspoon of nutmeg 1 cup of walnuts 1 pinch of salt 2 cups of flour 2 tablespoons of baking soda |

Put sugar, water, raising, butter, carrots, cinnamon, cloves & nutmeg into a saucepan & boil slowly for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat & allow to become perfectly cold. NEVER USE WHILE STILL WARM!
