Fruit Cocktail Cake 5

2 cups of flour
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of soda
1/2 cup of nuts
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
One can of fruit cocktail
3/4 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of coconut
1/2 cup of Pet milk (evaporated milk)

Mix flour, sugar, salt and soda together, set aside. Mix brown sugar and nuts, set aside. Mix eggs and fruit cocktail with flour mixture. Pour in 13 x 9 x 2 greased and floured pan. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over it. bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 325ºF. Heat milk, butter and sugar. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and coconut. Spread over hot cake. Leave in pan.
