1 cup of sugar 1 egg 1 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of baking soda 16 ounce can of fruit cocktail, drained 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1/3 cup of chopped pecans Cool Whip (optional)
Beat egg and sugar together. Add flour, salt, soda and fruit cocktail. Beat with electric mixer for 5 minutes. Pour into 8"x12" greased pan. Mix brown sugar and pecans together. Sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. Top with Cool Whip when served (optional).
