Crock Pot Beef Brisket

Crock Pot Beef Brisket
 
 1 large beef brisket
 2 envelopes of Lipton onion soup
 6 - 10 gingersnaps
 1 bottle of Heinz chili sauce
 Variety of vegetables: potatoes, carrots, onions, etc.

Salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder the brisket on both sides.    Put onion soup into the crock pot. Place the brisket on top. Cover with 2 cups of water. Add the gingersnaps in watery portion. Cover top of brisket with chili sauce. Add chopped vegetables of your choice. Cook on low 3 - 4 hours, or until meat is done.
