Crock Pot/ Slow Cooker Recipes >


 

Bouillabaisse

1/2 cup of olive oil
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 tablespoon of garlic, chopped
1/2 cup of celery, chopped
1 pound of tomatoes
8 ounces of tomato sauce
2 teaspoons of salt
1 tablespoon of paprika
1/2 cup of dry sherry or white wine
2 cups of water
a pinch of dried basil
1 1/2 pounds of medium or large shrimp
3 sea bass or halibut steaks, cut in 1 inch pieces or crabmeat
4 medium lobster tails
1 pounds of clams or scallops, optional




Put all ingredients except the seafood (the first 11 ingredients) in pot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 - 4 hours. Add seafood, shrimp, halibut or bass, crabmeat, lobster and clams or scallops, if desired. Cover and cook 3 - 4 hours on HIGH. Serves 4 - 6
