Spicy Turkey Meatballs
1 pound of ground turkey
1 cup of plain bread crumbs
1/4 cup of minced onion
1 egg white
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of rubbed sage
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of grated orange peel
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
one 16 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce |

Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, onion, egg white, parsley, sage,
garlic, orange peel, salt, cayenne, and black pepper. Form into 1 inch
balls and brown in skillet with oil. Drain meatballs and place in slow
cooker. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour; stir in spaghetti sauce. Cook on LOW 4
to 6 hours or on HIGH 2 to 3 hours. Served over cooked spaghetti or
fettuccine. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
