| | Homemade Ham Loaf
3 cups of ground cooked ham 8 ounces of bulk pork sausage 3 green onions, chopped 1 cup of rolled oats 1 celery stalk, chopped 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 cup of milk 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon of prepared horseradish
In a large bowl, combine the ham, sausage, green onions, oats, celery, parsley, egg and milk. Form into a 6 inch round loaf or a 9x5 inch oval. Place in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours. Combine mustard and horseradish and spread over ham loaf. Slice loaf and serve.
Note: Ham can be cut into chunks and ground in a food processor or meat grinder. Makes 6 to 8 servings
