Lima Beans with Sour Cream

1 pound of dried lima beans
6 cups of water
1/4 cup of butter, melted
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of molasses
2 1/2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 cup of sour cream




Soak the beans on the water overnight.
Cook in the same water in the crockery pot on the LOW setting for two to three hours. Drain.
Put the beans into a large bowl and add the butter, brown sugar, molasses, mustard and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Stir in the sour cream.
Put into a baking dish and bake  in a 350F. oven for about 40 minutes.
Serves 6 - 8
