two 10 ounce bags of frozen small whole onions, thawed 2 tablespoons of olive oil 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon granules or 1 bouillon cube 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
In a bowl, combine the onions and oil; toss until well coated. In a slow cooker, combine onions with vinegar, brown sugar, bouillon, granules, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 4 1/2 hours or until onions are soft. Makes 6 servings |
