| Sweet -n- Sour Beef & Vegetables 2 pounds of round steak, cut into 1 inch cubes 2 tablespoons of oil Two 8 ounce cans of tomato sauce 2 teaspoons of chili powder 2 cups of sliced carrots 2 cups of small white onions 1 teaspoon of paprika 1/4 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup of vinegar 1/2 cup of light molasses 1 large green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
Brown the steak in oil in saucepan. Combine all of the ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover. Cook on HIGH for 4 - 6 hours. Makes 6 servings |
