Toss dates with 1 teaspoon flour; set aside. Cream sugar and margarine at medium speed of an electric mixer until fluffy. Add banana; beat well. Stir in egg substitute, water and vanilla. Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, oat bran, and next 3 ingredients. Add to banana mixture, beating at low speed until smooth; stir in dates. Pour batter into prepared pan; sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 350ºF. for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
