Baked Fish (Low sodium Low Fat)

2 tablespoons of  instant minced onion
2 tablespoons of  water
1/2 teaspoon of basil leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of  canola oil
1 1/2 tablespoons of  lemon juice
1 pound of fish fillets, cod, halibut, or any white fish
1 teaspoon of  parsley flakes


Preheat oven to 350ºF.   Combine minced onion and water, let stand for 10 minutes to soften. Stir in basil, paprika, garlic powder, oil and lemon juice. Place fish fillets in oiled 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour herb mixture over top. Bake until fish flakes easily, about 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Serves 4 - 83 mg. sodium per portion.
