Low Calorie Bacon Cheese Appetizers

2 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled
4 pimiento-stuffed green olives, minced
2 teaspoons of minced onion
1/2 teaspoon of seeded & minced chili pepper or 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
12 melba rounds

In small mixing bowl combine all ingredients except melba rounds. Onto each melba round spoon an equal amount of cheese mixture. Arrange melba rounds on nonstick baking sheet and broil until cheese is melted, about 30 seconds.

Each serving provides: 1/2 protein exchange; 1 bread exchange; 55 optional calories. serving: 171 calories; 9 g protein; 9 g fat; 14 g carbohydrate; 145 mg calcium; 282 mg sodium; 18 mg cholesterol; 0.2 g dietary fiber.
