1 pound of dry pinto beans soaked overnight (if dry & 3 c. water) (2 cans) 2 cans of kidney beans 1 large onion, sliced or chopped 1 green pepper, cut in chunks 1 red pepper, cut in chunks 1 can of diced tomatoes 2 cups of sliced mushrooms 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or clove of fresh 1/2 teaspoon of cumin 1 teaspoon of chile powder 1 cup of V-8 or tomato juice |
