Low Calorie White Bean & Red Pepper Spread

White Bean and Red Pepper Spread

Categories: Low Calorie, Parsley, Garlic, Bean, Low cal, Low fat, Appetizers, Spreads

16 ounces of White beans; 1 1/2 cups
1/3 cup of Red peppers; roasted
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice; up to 3
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley; chopped
Salt and pepper to taste


1. Combine beans, red pepper, garlic and lemon juice in a food processor. 2. Blend until smooth. 3. Stir in parsley, salt and pepper. Variations: Use roasted garlic. Substitute basil or dill for parsley.  Serving Size: 8
