Sweet & Sour Green Beans

one 10 ounce pkg. frozen green beans or 1 lb. fresh green beans, cut to 1"
1 teaspoon of margarine
1/2 teaspoon of all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of dill seeds (optional)
Dash paprika



Cook frozen green beans according to package. (If using fresh green beans, cook in 1/2 cup water until tender.) Drain and set aside. In small saucepan, melt margarine, stir in flour and brown lightly. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour over green beans and heat gently 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
Each serving equals approximately 40 minutes.
