| Date & Apple Breakfast Bars
1 1/2 cups of oatmeal 1 cup of apples, finely chopped 1 tablespoon of grated orange rind 2 tablespoons of canola oil 3/4 cups of water 3/4 cups of dates, chopped 1/4 cup of walnuts, chopped 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Blend half of oatmeal to make flour. Combine flour thoroughly with remaining ingredients. Spread mixture evenly on greased 8x eight inch baking pan. Bake at 375ºF. for 20 to 25 minutes.
