one 10 ounce package of frozen chopped broccoli 1/3 cup of chopped onion 1 tablespoons of lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper one 9 inch unbaked pie shell 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese 4 eggs 1/2 cup of low fat milk 1/4 cup of natural butter flavor granules, made into liquid
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Cook broccoli according to package directions, drain well. While broccoli is draining, combine onion, lemon juice, nutmeg, and pepper in medium size bowl. Add broccoli and mix well. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Mix eggs with milk and butter granules. Pour over broccoli mixture. Place filled pie pan on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350ºF. and bake about 30 minutes, or until filling is set. Makes 6 servings
