Almond Triangles

1/2 cup of butter, softened
1 cup of sugar
6 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of chopped almonds 

Combine the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl; cream until smooth. Beat in cream and 2 eggs. Add salt and flour, blend well.  Wrap the dough  in waxed paper and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Roll out dough out on a lightly floured board, cut into triangles. Beat the remaining egg slightly, brush the tops of triangles with beaten egg. Sprinkle with almonds. Place the triangles on a greased cookie sheet, bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet while still warm. Makes 3 - 4 dozen
