6 egg yolks 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of Rusk crumbs 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 teaspoon of baking powder 6 egg whites 4 small packages of Milk Duds 1/2 cup of milk 1 cup of confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons of butter 1/2 pint of whipping cream
Beat egg yolks, add sugar and beat again. Mix together Rusk crumbs, nuts, vanilla and baking powder. Add to egg mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. Cool. Melt the Milk Duds, milk, confectioners' sugar and butter until smooth, stirring constantly. Let stand until cool and creamy. Whip the cream, spread over baked portion. Pour sauce on top and refrigerate overnight.
