Fancy Fuss Free Torte
1 loaf (10 3/4 ounces) of frozen pound cake, thawed
1 can (21 ounces) of cherry pie filling or flavor of your choice
1 carton ( 8 ounces) of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
Split cake into three horizontal layers. Place bottom layer on a
serving plate; top with half of the pie filling. Repeat layers. Top with
third cake layer. frost top and sides with whipped topping. Sprinkle
with pecans. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 8 - 10 servings |
